Key Responsibilities
The Sr. Engineer will be responsible for the seamless operation of factory machinery through the following tasks:
Strategic Planning: Design maintenance strategies, procedures, and standardized methods.
Routine Operations: Carry out scheduled maintenance and respond immediately to equipment faults.
Diagnosis & Repair: Diagnose breakdown issues, fit new components, and ensure machinery is working correctly.
Procurement: Manage the specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings, and technical components.
Inventory Control: Maintain control over maintenance tools, stores, and specialized equipment.
Cost Management: Monitor and control maintenance budgets and operational costs.
Emergency Response: Efficiently handle emergencies, unplanned technical problems, and urgent repairs.
Technical Expertise: Work with specialist equipment including PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and CNC machinery.
Continuous Coverage: Ensure continuous machinery availability and minimize downtime during breakdowns.
