Quality Sr. Manager – Prince Pipes and Fittings

Job Overview
Prince Pipes and Fittings Limited is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Quality Sr. Manager to lead the quality function at its manufacturing facility in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. The selected candidate will drive excellence in products, processes, and systems, ensuring the highest standards of quality across PVC, CPVC, PPR, and HDPE pipes and fittings operations.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Management Systems: Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality management systems in alignment with ISO 9001 and other relevant industry standards.
KPIs & Continuous Improvement: Establish and monitor quality objectives, track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure strict adherence to product quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory guidelines.
Inspection Oversight: Lead and manage incoming raw material, in-process production, and final product inspection activities to achieve zero-defect output.
Root Cause Analysis: Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality-related issues.
Calibration Management: Oversee the calibration, maintenance, and accuracy of all testing and measuring instruments.
Audits & Reviews: Lead internal quality audits, facilitate management reviews, and coordinate external audits along with customer visits.
Team Development: Train, mentor, and build technical competence and ownership within the plant quality team.
Product Testing: Ensure product testing strictly meets applicable standards (IS, ASTM, DIN, etc.) for PVC, CPVC, PPR, and HDPE products.

Required Qualification & Experience
Education: B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical, Plastics, Polymer, or a related engineering field.
Experience: 12 to 18 years of experience in Quality Management within the Pipe or Plastic Processing Industry.
Leadership: Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role (Manager / Sr. Manager level).
Technical Quality Tools: Strong working knowledge of quality tools including SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D, PDCA, 5S, etc.
Standards & Audits: Hands-on experience with ISO 9001, BIS, ASTM, ISI standards, and customer audits.
Software Skills: Proficient in MS Office and quality management software platforms.
Core Competencies: Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
