We have an urgent job opening for an experienced Senior Manager for New Product Development (NPD) to join a renowned Automotive Manufacturing Company located in the Pantnagar and Rudrapur industrial region.

Key Responsibilities
The Senior Manager will oversee multiple facets of product engineering, team leadership, and quality compliance. The core responsibilities are categorized below:
1. New Product Development (NPD)
Lead the complete New Product Development lifecycle right from the initial Request for Quotation (RFQ) through to the Part Submission Warrant (PSW).
Ensure the structured execution of projects utilizing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
Closely monitor all project timelines and ensure the timely completion of critical deliverables.
2. Technical & Product Development
Drive the core design and technical development processes for new automotive components.
Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless manufacturing integration.
3. Costing & Commercial Feasibility
Take charge of preparing and rigorously validating product costing and pricing models.
Actively work to optimize cost structures to ensure commercial viability and profitability.
4. Customer Coordination
Serve as the primary technical interface with customers throughout all development stages.
Effectively manage all customer reviews, feedback loops, and final product approvals.
5. Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to automotive quality management standards, specifically IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3.
Handle, maintain, and review all crucial PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) documentation.
6. Team Leadership
Build, mentor, and successfully manage the entire product development team.
Drive a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and technical innovation within the department.
7. Process Improvement
Identify and implement continuous efficiency improvements across the development cycle.
Champion and drive lean engineering practices to reduce waste and improve output.
