Job Description
Advik Hi-Tech Pvt. Ltd. is hiring Engineers – Quality for its automotive manufacturing operations in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand.
The selected candidates will be responsible for supporting quality assurance, inspection, process monitoring and quality improvement activities in a manufacturing environment. The role is suitable for Diploma-qualified candidates with 2–5 years of experience in the automobile or auto-component industry.
Candidates should have good attention to detail, problem-solving ability and an understanding of quality control processes. Similar quality-engineering openings from Advik have included inspection, process-control-plan compliance, rejection analysis and SPC/CPK activities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct quality inspection of components as per the Process Control Plan.
Monitor production processes and identify quality deviations.
Report abnormalities to the concerned supervisor or quality team for corrective action.
Maintain inspection records and quality-related documentation.
Ensure that inspection gauges and measuring equipment are properly calibrated.
Prepare shift-wise rejection and quality reports.
Monitor rejection and rework activities on the shop floor.
Coordinate with production teams to reduce defects and improve product quality.
Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring quality issues.
Monitor process parameters and quality performance.
Conduct periodic inspections according to the SPC Plan.
Prepare and share CP/CPK reports for process improvement.
Guide operators regarding quality requirements and standard operating procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.
