Key Responsibilities & Duties
Shift Supervision: Plan, organize, and supervise all manufacturing and shop-floor production activities during assigned shifts.
Target Achievement: Ensure daily production targets are met efficiently while keeping machine downtime and material rejection to a minimum.
Process Monitoring: Actively monitor PET preform injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and continuous production processes.
Quality Control: Ensure all manufactured preforms adhere strictly to quality benchmarks and customer specifications.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed production logs, shift handover notes, output records, and machinery downtime reports.
Standards & Compliance: Enforce operational SOPs, standard 5S workplace management practices, and proper safety protocols on the floor.
Maintenance Coordination: Monitor machine performance, identify early technical issues, and promptly report mechanical or electrical breakdowns to the maintenance unit.
Changeover Management: Ensure smooth machine mold changeovers and verify raw material availability prior to shift execution.
Shift Handover: Conduct smooth and structured handover procedures with incoming shift supervisors.
Desired Candidate Profile & Qualifications
1. Education
Diploma, B.Tech, or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
2. Experience & Background
3 to 6 years of practical, hands-on experience in PET preform manufacturing, plastics processing, injection molding, or packaging industries.
3. Essential Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of PET preform injection molding operations and parameters.
Good understanding of industrial quality systems, 5S methodologies, and workplace safety guidelines.
Demonstrated leadership, shift management, and problem-solving abilities.
