Job Overview
Panasonic is looking for an experienced Procurement and Planning Engineer to join its Quality Team at the Haridwar facility. The role focuses on overseeing material requirement planning, optimizing supply chain processes, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement operations to support manufacturing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Material Planning: Develop and execute production schedules and material requirements to maintain optimal workflow.
Engineering Change Management (ECN): Coordinate and implement engineering change notices accurately across procurement and production processes.
Inventory Optimization: Monitor inventory levels to minimize holding costs while ensuring continuous production line availability.
Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiate terms, and monitor supplier performance.
Cost Reduction Initiatives: Identify cost-saving opportunities across procurement and supply chain functions without compromising quality.
MIS Reporting: Prepare comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) reports to track key procurement and inventory metrics.
