Manager – Store (Pilot Industries Ltd. / Leader Battery)

Job Description
To manage Store and Warehouse operations efficiently, ensuring timely material availability, accurate inventory control, proper storage, and smooth material movement within the manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities
Store & Warehouse Operations: Manage day-to-day store operations, including material inwarding, storage, issuance, and outward movement.
Material Verification: Ensure proper receipt and physical verification of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Consumables, Spares, and Finished Goods.
Documentation & Records: Maintain accurate GRN (Goods Receipt Note), Material Issue, Stock Transfer, and inventory records.
Storage & Identification: Ensure systematic storage, labeling, and proper identification of all stored materials.
Stock Level Management: Maintain minimum/maximum stock levels and coordinate with Purchase and Production teams for seamless material availability.
Audits & Reconciliation: Conduct regular physical stock verification, reconciliation, and control stock variances.
Material Handling: Ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance and proper handling of scrap, rejected, and obsolete materials.
Reporting: Prepare Store MIS, Stock Ageing, and Inventory Reports for senior management review.
Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with Purchase, Production, Quality, Accounts, and Logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
Team & SOP Compliance: Supervise store staff, ensure manpower utilization, and maintain compliance with 5S, safety, housekeeping, and company SOPs.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong knowledge of store, warehouse, and inventory management processes.
Hands-on experience working with ERP, Busy, or specialized inventory management software.
Proven leadership ability to manage teams and plant-level store operations effectively.
Strong focus on inventory accuracy, operational discipline, cost control, and continuous process improvement.
Excellent analytical, coordination, and interpersonal communication skills.
